Today we looked at possible fonts we could use for our inter-titles.

here is a list of possible fonts we could use-(taken from "da font")

SUCCESS!!!

We have finished filming and it was very successful ! everything went well !
apart from the fact that we had to scrub the floor clean before Elijah and Rowan wer to sit on it-it was filthyyyy!!! who'd of thought...filming one minute and scrubbing the floor the next!!...see thats why you should work hrad in college....your either gonna be hands on with the camera or hands down with floor!
filming was good ! the actors/actresses seemed to enjoy themselves...especially the sex scene!! this scene was not suitable for everyone's eyes as some people had to leave the room whilst this scene was being filmed...now for those of you who have just felt their hearts sink...it wasn't an actual sex scene. the charcters just touched eachothers back to connote sexual images...so you didnt miss much! it was overall successful!

FILMING TODAY

today is the day we've all been waitinf for ! time to film our trailer!
we have the camera bookeed and we have been given permission to leave media as it's the last lesson of the day...not because we wanted an hour away from media-(wink wink) nooooo it was because HQ teh place were filming have allowed us to film before 5, so we need as much time as possible!
No-one seems to be nervous! we're all relaxed and confident! The Actaor/Actress we're using are also confident so nothing to worry about!

Elijah and Rowan will wear there own clothes.
Elijah has been asked to come in with jeans and a shirt and Rowan to wear anything casual and we will provide her with make-up and the wig

Edward De Bono and His theory on the 6 thinking hats

Edward De Bono's 6 is a model which can be used for exploring different perspectives towards a complex situation or challenge. seeing things in a differnt way and from different point sof views are helpful and make complex situations easier and successful. This theory is described as being "the perfect students brain" This is done through 6 differnt coloured hats.

BLACK HAT

Critical Judgement, identifies hazards, barriers. LOGICAL NEGATIVE view

WHITE HAT

Focuses on information available,objective facts, what is needed and how it can be obtained

BLUE HAT

Helps to ensure the group remains focused on the task ans improves theri chances of achieving their objectives.

RED HAT

Feelings and emotions, excersing their gut instinct-presents views without justification/explanations

YELLOW HAT

positives, identify benefits associated with an idea/issue. Uses logical positive view! looks for benefits and what sgood

GREEN HAT

creative thinking,possibilities and hypotheses, new ideas

The Secret......Sssshhhhhhh

YEAH ITS TRUE SHE DID SLEEP WITH.....
No joking! I'm talking about the secret that our character is hiding in our trailer...it's not an affair...it's not something from the past to haunt her...It's cancer!!! :-(
Saaaaaad i know but our charcters secret is that she has cancer and dosent want to tell her boyfriend..why? maybe she's scared of rejection? Or perhaps she just dosen't want to loose him!
Whatever the reason...she is putting her relationship on the line!
we are not going to have teh charcter say she's got cancer....beacuse it's a secret!!!! but we are going to hint that it is some medical issue by having her hair falling off...we are going to get her to use all the force she ahs and pull out her own hair...only about 25.....Haha we are not really going to ask her to do that we're going to buy a wig...a cheap one which will allow her to just smoothly take some hair off showing hair loss after patients with cancer undergo chemotherpay. She is also going to cough and cough out blood...(fake blood) which we'll buy....soooon!

Storyline

Our trailer is going to be a ROMANTIC DRAMA.
It involves two charcters who meet unexpectedly in a pub and fall in love. all is going well until the Female charcter-(not yet decided who is going to play this role) is hiding something...she becomes very secretive and distance...This secret leads to arguments within hte relationship and also gets the audience thinking about what it is that could be so bad that she cant share it with the man she loves...so this will keep the audience in suspense and want them to go and see the film!!...whcih is why we have trailers-(just thought you should know!) ;-)

Everything's Not lost

yup! That's the name of our trailer!! Everything's not lost!! Sounds great but will look even better ! :-D
We did brainstorms to help us all put our individual ideas down on paper and finalised it buy choosing this!

i am happy with my group as i have i have worked with most people in the group. Me and Zainub ar ein the same performing arts class and have worked together before so i know we will work well and the same with Suhaila-i have previously woorked with her in Media and again we worked well. I'm looking forward to working with Anam! so i am confident that thsi group will work hard and as a team we will get do well in this project. It also gives me a confidence boost at this early stage as each member has something to bring to the table, whether it being interlectualy or just a good lively sense of humour!-Our group has it all !
